Volleyball Recap: Cali Hamilton and Mady Conrad Secure Win for Angola

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Angola walked away with it. They won by a set and slipped past the East Noble Knights 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Angola was led to victory by Mady Conrad and Cali Hamilton. Conrad had 12 digs and three assists, while Hamilton had nine digs. That's the most assists Conrad has posted over her last six matchups.

Angola was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive contests.

Angola is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season. As for East Noble, they moved to 22-10 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Coming up, Angola will face off against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Noble does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
