Volleyball Recap: Oconomowoc Comes Up Short

Oconomowoc suffered their biggest defeat since September 10th on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Muskego Warriors. The Raccoons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Oconomowoc was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Muskego's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-20.

Oconomowoc's offense was headlined by Ryan Romero and Ben Gricius, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Nate Karnowski and his 19 assists. He was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Oconomowoc's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Muskego, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Oconomowoc will take on Madison Country Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Muskego, they will challenge Marquette University at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
