Baseball Recap: Land O' Lakes Gets the Win

Land O' Lakes won against Central on Tuesday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Land O' Lakes Gators beat the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-1. The victory continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Hurricanes: they've now won six in a row.

Land O' Lakes got a great performance from Zachary Kelly as he struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts Kelly has posted since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Land O' Lakes saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Legar, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.
