West Clermont and Milford are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

West Clermont is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Archbishop Moeller on Thursday. They fell 6-1 to the Fighting Crusaders.

Caleb DeRossett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Milford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Little Miami.

Jake Dixon and David Kittrell stepped up to the plate in a big way. Dixon went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI, while Kittrell went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Jake McGrath was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Milford's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for West Clermont, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

West Clermont came out on top in a nail-biter against Milford when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
