Softball Recap: Fulton Victorious

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fulton). They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Breckenridge Huskies on Tuesday. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 22-2 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Fulton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Breckenridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5.

Coming up, Fulton is taking a road trip to face off against Carson City-Crystal at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Breckenridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-5 loss against Ashley on the 22nd.
