St. Petersburg is 9-1 against Boca Ciega since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The St. Petersburg Green Devils will head out to face off against the Boca Ciega Pirates at 8:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While losing is never fun, the Green Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 95th, while the Warriors are ranked 21st).

Meanwhile, Boca Ciega was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Hollins.

Boca Ciega's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for St. Petersburg, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1-1.

St. Petersburg skirted past Boca Ciega 2-1 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Petersburg since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
