Golden Gate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against the Barron Collier Cougars, falling 58-30. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-14.

Sheila Forbes had a dynamite game for Barron Collier, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave Forbes a new career-high in rebounds. Taylor Viotto was another key player, going 6 for 11 on her way to 14 points.

Golden Gate's record is now 1-15. As for Barron Collier, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-8.
