Glenbrook North had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with an 8-5 win over the Resurrection Bandits.

Glenbrook North's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Resurrection, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Looking ahead, Glenbrook North will welcome New Trier at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trevians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Resurrection, they will take on Amundsen at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bandits are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
