Football Game Preview: Zion-Benton Zee-Bees vs. Waukegan Bulldogs + How To Watch

Zion-Benton is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Waukegan a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Zion-Benton Zee-Bees will look to defend their home field against the Waukegan Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Zion-Benton has given up an average of 29.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Zion-Benton lost to Stevenson on the road by a 40-21 margin. While losing is never fun, the Zee-Bees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Patriots are ranked 76th).

Meanwhile, Waukegan played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 63-14 loss at the hands of Mundelein. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-6.

Zion-Benton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Waukegan, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything came up roses for Zion-Benton against Waukegan in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 51-22 win. Will the Zee-Bees repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
