It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Miami had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 69-36 victory over Lourdes Academy. The win was nothing new for the Pioneers as they're now sitting on three straight.

It was another big night for Donnesha Morency, who dropped a double-double on 15 boards and ten steals. North Miami is 11-1 when Morency posts ten or more rebounds, but 6-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Naima Gernes, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards.

North Miami smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 15 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

North Miami's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for Lourdes Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

As for Lourdes Academy, they will square off against Northeast at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Lourdes Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
