While Maple Mountain has struggled at home with three straight losses, that wasn't the case on Tuesday thanks to Elijah Liddiard. The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles took down the Wasatch Wasps 66-50 thanks in part to Liddiard, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 18 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.7% shooting accuracy.

Another player making a difference was Nash Jackson, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave him a new career-high.

Maple Mountain's record now sits at 9-13. As for Wasatch, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Golden Eagles face off against the Thunderbirds at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Maple Mountain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Wasatch, they will be playing at home against Spanish Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wasatch is facing Spanish Fork at the right time seeing as Spanish Fork is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
