There's no place like home for Chestatee, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the War Eagles who were credited with the win on Friday. The Chestatee War Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Cherokee Bluff Bears's four. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chestatee also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2025.

Chestatee now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Cherokee Bluff, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Chestatee and Cherokee Bluff will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The War Eagles are set to take on their familiar foe White County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Cherokee Bluff will challenge rival Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
