Beckman entered their tilt with San Clemente on Wednesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Tritons 28-26. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-35 two weeks ago.

Several Tritons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chloe Williams, who threw for 393 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of her passes. Williams is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Giselle Nacelli was in the mix as well, providing San Clemente with two touchdowns.

Beckman's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for San Clemente, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.

Beckman didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 34-32 win against Aliso Niguel on the 13th. As for San Clemente, they will welcome Tesoro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans' defense has only allowed 11.3 points per game this season, so the Tritons' offense will have their work cut out for them.
