Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Raymond Nonato and Jhiovanni Lacosta Lead Morse to Victory

Morse won the last time they faced Kearny and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers blew past the Komets 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-16.

Morse was led to victory by Jhiovanni Lacosta and Raymond Nonato. Lacosta had 15 assists and three aces, while Nonato had 14 assists and three digs. Those 14 assists gave Nonato a new career-high.

Morse's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10. As for Kearny, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Morse is set to square off against their familiar foe Madison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kearny will face off against rival San Diego at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
