The Hamburg Bulldogs will face off against the Williamsville East Flames at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Williamsville East will be up against a hot Hamburg squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against Dunkirk on Saturday as they made off with an 11-2 win. With that victory, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Max Gladke was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Jonah Moscato was incredible, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. Jimmy Steffen was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Hamburg always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Williamsville East, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over Royalton-Hartland on Saturday. The Flames might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by eight runs or more this season.
Williamsville East let Ryan McKinnon and Noah Hoffman run wild. McKinnon went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Hoffman went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Hoffman is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Gabe Chambers, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Hamburg pushed their record up to 11-6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Williamsville East, their win bumped their record up to 11-4-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hamburg has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Williamsville East struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Hamburg couldn't quite finish off Williamsville East in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 8-6. Will the Bulldogs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
