Basketball Recap: Hollis-Brookline Comes Up Short

The Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers fell to the Merrimack Valley Pride 61-57. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Pride: they've now lost four in a row.

Hollis-Brookline's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Merrimack Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Hollis-Brookline will challenge Milford at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Merrimack Valley, they will be playing at home against Pembroke at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pembroke knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten contests -- so hopefully Merrimack Valley likes a good challenge.
