It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact First Baptist Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the Marco Island Academy Rays by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, the Lions couldn't push the score so high this time.

First Baptist Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9-3 record this season. As for Marco Island Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-5-2.
