Soccer Recap: Cairo Comes Up Short

Cairo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles.

Cairo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Cairo will welcome Westover at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cairo has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Central Georgia Arts at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
