Cardinal Gibbons lost against St. Thomas Aquinas back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Cardinal Gibbons took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Thomas Aquinas. The Chiefs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Eddie Marshall made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Randy Petron, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
