There's no place like home for Ira, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Roby Lions a 15-0 shutout on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Chloe Juarez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Juarez was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing Four bases. while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Ira got a massive performance out of Edith Cabrera, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Ally Flanagan, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run.

Ira always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .815. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Ira's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Roby, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ira will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Trinity Christian at 5:00 p.m. on March 24th. Roby will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trent at 4:30 p.m. on March 28th.
