Softball Recap: Anderson Takes a Loss

Anderson lost against Shasta last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Anderson lost 23-2 to Shasta. The Cubs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Caydence Dial made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-1. Jaycie Swope also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Shasta, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-6.

Coincidentally, Anderson and Shasta will both be playing Central Valley the next time they take the field. Shasta will host Central Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Anderson will host them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
