Northpoint Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Harding Academy Lions. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Trinity Garvin was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katy Bobo, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Ryan, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Northpoint Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in seven consecutive games.

Northpoint Christian's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Harding Academy, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
