Liberty's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Blair Oaks as they made off with a 6-0 victory. Considering the Blue Jays have won 13 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, North Kansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 5-1 to Park Hill South.

Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for North Kansas City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.
