Basketball Recap: Genoa Central Comes Up Short

Genoa Central suffered their closest loss since December 14, 2023 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Prescott Curley Wolves by a score of 48-46. The Dragons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Curley Wolves earlier this season, when they won 57-48.

Genoa Central dropped their record down to 9-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Prescott, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-8.

Genoa Central will square off against Nevada at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Genoa Central is facing Nevada at the right time seeing as Nevada is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Prescott, they will challenge Centerpoint at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
