Georgia Military College is 0-3 against Brentwood since March of 2022 but things could change  on Friday. The Georgia Military College Bulldogs will welcome the Brentwood War Eagles  at 6:30  p.m. Georgia Military College will aim to continue their six-game streak of scoring more  runs each  contest than the last.
Georgia Military College is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They blew past Hancock Central 18-1 on Thursday. Georgia Military College might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by eight  runs or more this season.
 Nate Webster made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. Webster was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Landon Beckler, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.  Hunter Langford was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple and one  run.
 Georgia Military College  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .793. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Brentwood earned  a  9-4 victory over Glascock County  on Monday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the War Eagles.
Like Georgia Military College, Brentwood also got a great game from a two-way player:  Riley Helton. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Helton was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Nathan Diaz was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was  Grady Boutelle, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Georgia Military College's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 4-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 runs over those games. As for Brentwood, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
