Basketball Recap: Grady Skates Past San Jon with Ease

There's no place like home for Grady, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 68-2 blowout they got against the San Jon Coyotes. The Bronchos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 22 points or more this season.

Grady found their leader in sophomore Trey Rush, who posted 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rush has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Croy, who earned nine points.

Grady now has a winning record of 6-5. As for San Jon, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Grady will take on Melrose in a tournament on Thursday. As for San Jon, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Floyd at 6:30 p.m. on January 14th.
