Trinity skates past Westhope/Newburg with ease

The Trinity Titans took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Westhope/Newburg 51-23 at home.
Despite the loss, Westhope/Newburg still got an impressive performance from Kimberly Tabarez, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Tabarez scored a full 43.5% of Westhope/Newburg's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Westhope/Newburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Trinity will be playing at home against Bottineau at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Westhope/Newburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
