Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Leyton Minnix and Averi Bolgiano Lead Crawford to Victory

Crawford proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chisholm Trail Rangers, sneaking past 2-1.

Leading Crawford to victory were Averi Bolgiano and Leyton Minnix. Bolgiano had 11 digs and two aces, while Minnix had 16 digs and three assists. The dominant performance also gave Bolgiano a new career-high in assists (three). Tatum Miller also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Crawford's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Chisholm Trail, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
