Tri-Valley and El Paso-Gridley pushed the score to 28-7 the last time they played El Paso-Gridley, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Vikings came out on top against the Titans by a score of 4-0. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Cade Danko, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Chase Haworth, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Tri-Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-0-1. As for El Paso-Gridley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
