Soccer Recap: Mt. Zion Takes a Loss

Mt. Zion and Heritage squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Mt. Zion had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Generals. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Mt. Zion's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mt. Zion's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Heritage, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Mt. Zion does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage, they will challenge Whitewater at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Whitewater will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Heritage surely won't give up without a fight.
