Spartanburg Christian Academy pushed their record up to 13-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points per game. As for Spartanburg Day, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Spartanburg Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Spartanburg Day in their previous matchup last Friday, winning 53-40.
