Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayne County). They blew past the Somerset Christian Cougars 19-3 on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Wayne County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Somerset Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wayne County will venture away from home to square off against East Jessamine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Somerset Christian, they will take on Cumberland County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
