Parkside and Kent Island are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2015, but not for long. The Parkside Rams will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Kent Island Buccaneers at 5:00 p.m. Parkside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.1 points per game this season.

Parkside is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They slipped by Queen Anne's County 41-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Parkside's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zion Oge, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ta'Layah Clark, who had 12 points.

Wicomico typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Kent Island proved too difficult a challenge. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Indians 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Buccaneers have posted since January 18, 2024.

Parkside's victory was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points on average over those games. As for Kent Island, their win bumped their record up to 18-3.

Parkside skirted past Kent Island 46-44 when the teams last played back in February. Will Parkside repeat their success, or does Kent Island have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
