Soccer Recap: Lone Jack Takes a Loss

Lone Jack entered their game against Oak Grove on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mules came up short against the Panthers, falling 5-1. Lone Jack fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Oak Grove since on Monday.

Lone Jack's goal came courtesy of Jericho Goodson, who's now up to three this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Lone Jack and nudges their season record down to 8-5. As for Oak Grove, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4-1 record this season.

Lone Jack didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against St. Paul Lutheran on the 23rd. Oak Grove has also already played their next game (against Van Horn), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
