While Bunkie's win against Avoyelles Charter wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Bunkie came out on top in a nail-biter against Avoyelles Charter on Tuesday, sneaking past 8-7. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.

Brianna LaBorde was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andi Bettevy, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

Bunkie's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Avoyelles Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Bunkie is taking a road trip to challenge Northwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northwood has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.89 runs per game on average), something Bunkie will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Avoyelles Charter, they will host Peabody at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
