Softball Recap: Rainier Beach Comes Up Short

Rainier Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-2 to the Ingraham Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-2 on April 3rd.

Rainier Beach saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Willis, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Rainier Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Ingraham, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10.

While Rainier Beach had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
