Basketball Game Preview: South Brunswick Cougars vs. West Brunswick Trojans + Official Tickets

The South Brunswick Cougars will head out to face off against the West Brunswick Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Brunswick took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on South Brunswick, who comes in off a win.

South Brunswick was handed a 24-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They skirted past East Columbus 57-55. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Gators: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, West Brunswick fought the good fight in their overtime contest against North Myrtle Beach on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

South Brunswick will have to contain Kveon Griffin as he made an impact in West Brunswick's last game. He almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Jerrison Dixon was another key player, going 5-for-11 to rack up 12 points and six boards.

South Brunswick now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Brunswick, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

South Brunswick came up short against West Brunswick when the teams last played back in February, falling 57-51. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
