Dirk Williams Jr. Turns in Season-Best Effort

Sachse was led to victory by Dirk Williams Jr., who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Williams Jr. threw for 312 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 33 yards.

The win (which was Sachse's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Williams Jr. and Sachse will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Garland at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday DeAngelo Perales stepped things up a notch to give Naaman Forest the 'W'. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (102.5).

The win got Naaman Forest back to even at 3-3. They and Wylie East are set to duel on Friday.
