Soccer Recap: South Atlanta Falls to Riverdale in First Game of Season

South Atlanta unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Riverdale Raiders on Thursday, falling 5-2.

The victory made it two in a row for Riverdale and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Atlanta will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Miller Grove at 5:30 p.m. on February 24th. As for Riverdale, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lovejoy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
