Soccer Recap: Indio Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Indio won the last time they faced Twentynine Palms and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indio Rajahs' defense stepped up to hand the Twentynine Palms Wildcats an 11-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Paola Sepulveda as she scored four goals for her team.

Indio is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those five matchups. As for Twentynine Palms, they dropped their record down to 2-11-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Indio and Twentynine Palms will both be playing Yucca Valley the next time they take the pitch. Indio will head out to face Yucca Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while Twentynine Palms will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
