Recap: Kingstree Blazers vs. Lee Central Stallions
On Friday, The Kingstree Blazers never let their opponents score. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lee Central 36-0 on the road. Kingstree didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kingstree to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ja'Shaun Dorsey, who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. Kingstree also got a significant boost from Javian Mccrea, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 119 yards.
Kingstree's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Lee Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingstree will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Timberland at 7:30 p.m. on November 3rd. Timberland is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Lee Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oceanside Collegiate Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lee Central in South Carolina (Oceanside Collegiate Academy is ranked 39th, while Lee Central is ranked 201st).
