Baseball Recap: Resurrection Catholic Comes Up Short

Resurrection Catholic lost against St. Patrick last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell 8-4 to the Fighting Irish.

Resurrection Catholic has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for St. Patrick, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Resurrection Catholic will take on Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for St. Patrick, they will face off against Perry Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
