It was a good run, but Cholla unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 5-0 to the Sahuarita Mustangs. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Chargers were not able to get on the board.

Cholla's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Sahuarita, they pushed their record up to 12-3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coming up, Sahuarita will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Ironwood Ridge at 4:00 p.m. Cholla will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' game: after the Mustangs faces off against the Nighthawks, they'll take on Cholla again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
