Baseball Recap: Montour Spartans vs. Moon Area Tigers
After a string of 12 wins, Montour's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the Moon Area Tigers by a score of 7-6. Montour's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-3. As for Moon Area, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Montour will face off against Central Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Moon Area, they will head out on the road to take on New Castle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
