Baseball Recap: Mid-Carolina Wins Going Away Against Eau Claire

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against River Bluff, Mid-Carolina was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Eau Claire Shamrocks with a sharp 16-1 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rebels needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Mid-Carolina's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Eau Claire, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1-1.
