Basketball Game Preview: Chase Trojans vs. Asheville Christian Academy Lions

Chase is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Burns on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Chase was beaten by Burns 87-45. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-25.

Meanwhile, Asheville Christian Academy came up short against Gaston Day on Friday and fell 79-70. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lions came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked sixth, while the Spartans are ranked 86th).

Chase's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Asheville Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
