Softball Recap: Seven Rivers Christian Comes Up Short

If Seven Rivers Christian was feeling good fresh off their 20-8 takedown of Ocala Christian last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors lost 15-2 to the Lakeside Christian Lions on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-4 back in March.

Ryanna Ramsay made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole four bases while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Erin Millican, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Seven Rivers Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Lakeside Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Seven Rivers Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-11 victory against Saint Francis Catholic on the 10th. As for Lakeside Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sarasota Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
