Soccer Game Preview: Lebanon vs. Tri-West Hendricks

Lebanon hasn't had much luck against Tri-West Hendricks recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Tigers will take on the Bruins at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lebanon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over West Lafayette. Lebanon better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Autumn Jones, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Meanwhile, Tri-West Hendricks had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Athenians.

Tri-West Hendricks' victory bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Lebanon, their win bumped their record up to 12-3-3.

Lebanon was able to grind out a solid victory over Tri-West Hendricks in their previous matchup back in September, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
