Basketball Recap: First Baptist Christian Takes a Loss

First Baptist Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Christ Episcopal School Wildcats, falling 68-24. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 61-14 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2023.

First Baptist Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Christ Episcopal School, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-10 record.

First Baptist Christian will venture away from home to take on Phoenix at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Christ Episcopal School, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 88-24 loss against Independence on the 10th.
