Basketball Recap: Terrell Comes Up Short

Terrell managed to slip by Crandall the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers had to suffer through a 97-65 loss at the hands of the Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1003rd, while the Pirates are ranked 365th).

Terrell dropped their record down to 9-24 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Crandall, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-15.

Terrell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crandall, they will take on Ellison at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
